We are looking for a Kindergarten English Teacher for an international kindergarten in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. This position is available from the upcoming 2026/27 academic year starting in August 2026. About the school Located in Chengdu's Shuangliu district, this kindergarten provides early years education for children aged 2 to 6, with small classes of just 18 students. Its nurturing, play-based approach focuses on whole-child development in a warm and supportive setting, where foreign teachers work side by side with a dedicated local co-teacher in a friendly, collaborative environment. Job responsibilities Teach English to kindergarten students aged 2 to 6 and ensure an engaging and supportive learning experience Serve as a homeroom teacher and help create a positive, safe, and well-managed classroom environment Prepare lessons, teaching materials, class activities, and age-appropriate assessments Work closely with the local co-teacher to support students' language, social, and overall development for a class of 18 students Monitor and assess students' progress and provide feedback to parents and school leadership when required Take part in school activities, events, meetings, and other teaching-related responsibilities Job requirements Bachelor degree or above Previous teaching experience preferred TEFL, TESOL, CELTA certifcate or higher Patient, caring, and genuinely loves working with young children Salary and benefits Monthly salary of 18,000 to 22,000 RMB commensurate with experience and educational background Work visa (Z) provided Assistance provided in finding an apartment or housing Paid national holidays Friendly working environment
