Details

We are looking for a Primary School Teacher for a Bilingual School based in Shanghai. This position is available in August 2026. About the school Bilingual school founded back in 2015 and located in Shanghai’s Jiading area. The school has a kindergarten, primary, middle and high school divisions and integrates China’s national curriculum with IB curriculum to meet educational needs and promote international outlook Job details Serve as a primary homeroom teacher, delivering an engaging, well-rounded, and nurturing learning experience for young learners across core subjects Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the PYP framework, integrating transdisciplinary units of inquiry and meaningful learning experiences Prepare teaching materials, assess student learning, maintain accurate records, and write reports and narrative comments Support students’ development as independent, reflective, and internationally minded learners in line with the IB Learner Profile Monitor and assess student progress on a regular basis, using a range of formative and summative assessment strategies to support individual growth Provide clear, constructive, and ongoing feedback to students and maintain effective communication with parents and caregivers Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan units, contribute to curriculum development, and support the continued growth of the PYP programme Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that promotes wellbeing, curiosity, and a love of learning Requirements Bachelor Degree or above Minimum 3 years’ full time teaching experience Hold a teaching certificate Passionate and Energetic in teaching Excellent English communication skills Salary and benefits Monthly Salary of 27,000 to 28,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications Housing allowance of up to 5,000 RMB Relocation allowance Settlement allowance Medical health insurance Lunch provided on work days Summer and winter holiday Christmas holiday Personal paid leave
